LunarMagic
I have a reseller site and one of the people I'm hosting sent me an email: When I tried to install my phpBB forums ( which should be here according to the panel http://redajah.org/forums ) I get a "page not found" Any idea what might be up? Does anyone have any helpful hints before I try figuring out what's up? I've never used the control panel's installation scripts before. Thanks for any advice. LunarMagic
It also would help me to know how she's trying to install it... she said through the cPanel... but I can't find phpBB anywhere on the cPanel (wow, I suck as a hosting provider, lol). I have all packages set to use the cPanel X.
TCH-Don
Look under cgi scripts > bulletin board and tell her she may have installed in /forum not /forums
TCH-Rob
We do not have phpBB just PHP-Nuke or Invision
LunarMagic
Actually Rob, there is phpBB. And I checked, it's not at /forum either. Hmm. I bet she doesn't even have FTP so I can't check that. Hrm.
TCH-Rob
Sheesh, it is under CGI Scripts and is just called Bulletin Board, just like Turtle said in the post above mine. Silly me looking for it by name, Bad Mod! I am going to bed now :::shakes head::: good night all. TCH-Don
LOL, Rob, I'm still looking for PHP-Nuke LunarMagic, if I follow the link and remove the s on forums I get redirected to www.redajah.org/forum/install/install.php but with the message The requested URL /forum/install/install.php was not found on this server. so there is something at www.redajah.org/forum/
LunarMagic
Don, I see what you mean. She gave me access to her control panel and the problem is, well, very strange: It is actually installed at redajah.org/forum/. All the files exist there, including index.php. However, when you type in the URL, you get redirected to a page that doesn't exist. Why would it be doing that?? There's no other index.xxx in that folder, just the index.php of the phpBB forum. TCH-Don
You might try to reinstall. If the dtabase is new, I would delete the database first then re-install.
