FYI.

Had messages occurring on 3 servers this morning while checking e-mail accounts via Outlook.

“The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified.  The target principal name is incorrect.”

Click button to view certificate and it says issued to “eagle.tchmachines.com”, valid from 2/23/2021 to 2/14/2022.

Same thing on “baldwin.tchmachines.com”,  “lincoln.tchmachines.com”

Selected option to go ahead and use the server.  No new messages since.

Having TCH certificate issues as well with Thunderbird - since May 23rd. "This site attempts to identify itself with invalid information."

I attempt to get new certificate and it goes nowhere. T'bird has always used wildcat.tchmachines.com:993 as the location. Anyone know if this has changed?

The accounts on server wildcat were migrated to server torch several years ago if I'm not mistaken. I would open a ticket with the help desk to see what they have to say.

Thanks. Thunderbird has been checking this same account as it is every 10 minutes for many years - the change happened when the certificate expired on the 23rd of last month. Odd stuff. I'll open a ticket if it can't be sorted on my end. Thanks again.
