How Long For Subdomain To Propagate?

I just created a new subdomain in CPanel, intending to replace an existing subdomain, but before I begin changing my pages to reflect this, I suppose I need to wait for the subdomain to propagate.

 

Given that the site is on a TCH server, about how long should I wait?

 

Also, should I set up a redirect to take traffic from the old subdomain to the new one?

Update: When I point my browser to my new subdomain's index page, I see this:

Index of /

• cgi-bin/

Does this mean the subdomain has already propagated?

Yes, you are correct. You can start uploading your pages to the subdomain directory.
