Switching My Sites?

Recommended Posts

I´ll assume you will using the same domain, if so you will need to:

1) make a backup of the directory/folder that is currently your wordpress site (called wordpress in this example) and download it to your own computer.

2) extract the backup

3) remove all current files in public_html

4) reupload the files and subfolders in the wordpress directory/folder.

5) enjoy your new site.

No, that wouldn't work. But you can download the whole folder to a folder on your hard drive and zip it up. Then empty your public_html folder and upload the zip file to it and uncompress it using the File Manager in cPanel. Or you can open a ticket with the help desk and they can move the files for you.
