AngelFire
Hello Everyone, I have seen a tutorial somewhere on this forum on adding a part to Awstats to Update it immediately. But for the life of me I can't remember where and can't find anything through the "Search". If you know where this topic is I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you
TCH-Thomas
Is it this thread you are looking for? If so, be careful if you chose to try the solution that Bruce talks about in post 22 in that thread. Personally I wouldn´t try it, instead I would check out Google Analytics. AngelFire
Hi Thomas, thank you for your reply. No that was not the one. You needed to edit a file and then change the permissions on that file so that the server wouldn't change the settings again. What it done was when you view your Awstats it had an "Update" or an "Update Now" link at the very top of the screen. As for "Google Analytics" I know nothing about that, I might have a look into it and see what it does. AngelFire
Oops, looking at that post you mentioned again by Bruce (Post 22) that is what it is. But I still might look into the other option you suggested before making this change. Thank you again.
