dorich Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Does the web server allow "override"? I'm setting up an Expression Engine site and want to change the "index.php" in the url. The related instruction reads Important:You should confirm with your Host/server admin that the web server is set up to "AllowOverride". Otherwise the above commands may not actually take effect. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know exactly what this means but I assume it has something to do with the functioning of the php??? Does anyone know if this override is allowed? I don't know what options Expression Engine requires, but I do believe TCH supports the required ones as I know we have customers on here who run EE.
