Hello all,

I have a problem on one of my computers. It seems that I have something that is doing JavaScript Injections and changing ad banners and opening new windows. I've installed PC Tools Spyware Doctor and have run it a few times but it doesn't seems to clear everything. I've run HiJack This and here is the log:

I've highlighted in red the items that I think are causing this, but I really have no clue, they just look out of place.

Let me know if I am correct and how to go about fixing this. Thanks in advance!!!

Yup definately sounds like MyWebSearch. Install something like Spybot or SpywareTerminator and run a scan. They should detect and remove the problem. Obviously spyware doctor's not up to the task.

Spybot didn't take care of it. Here is what I found out is probably the problem: Virtumonde! <---EVIL!

I'm in the middle of using several programs including VundoFix to help remove. We'll see if it works!

Is your version of spybot up to date?? Because I know for a fact that spybot WILL detect and erase all instances of Mywebsearch spyware!
