Samrc Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 (edited) Testing a different FTP software today. 1st time I have seen the full WELCOME from the TCH server in a long time. (Usually it is at the top of the status window but this software popped it up in a separate window). It told me I was connection 3 out of 50 allowed. Just pulled it again and it says: 220-You are user number 2 of 50 allowed.220-Local time is now 12:20. Server port: xx. 220-This is a private system - No anonymous login 220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server. 220 You will be disconnected after 15 minutes of inactivity. 230-User xxxxxxxxxxxx has group access to: xxxxxxxxxxxx 230 OK. Current restricted directory is / Strange, since I am the only one with ftp access to that site. I have assigned another FTP but that person does not know it yet. SO....How can I be 2 or 3 of 50? I was in earlier today, does the server remember the connection and only resets the number after x minutes? Edited February 14, 2008 by Samrc Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 The servers allow 50 concurrent users to connect to the server via FTP at any given time. It's a server setting not a site setting so you are the only one accessing your site with FTP. FTP is a service running on the server and it keeps track of how many users are logged in and how long they have been idle. Quote
