scotlandview
In Cpanel is a possibility to create a mailinglist which can be used for sending newsletters: Mailing lists can simplify sending messages to a large group of people. You can add a group of email addresses to a mailing list to avoid typing in those addresses each time a mailing is sent. This can be very useful when sending newsletters or other updates to large groups of people. My question is how many addresses are allowed to be used in one mailing list. Some time ago I tried to send a mass email to the members of my blog (more than 100 members) and something (spam alert or so) was triggered at TCH which prevented me from doing this. Can I avoid this by using the cpanel mailing lists? And if so how many email addresses are allowed in one list? I am sending newsletters regularly to more than 500 people. TCH-Andy
HI Ron, I'd suggest using phplist or dadamail as they are better ( free ) mailing lists, where you can spread the emails over time. If you open a ticket at the help desk, we'll explain the limits. We don't publish them all here, as we have no wish to tell spammers about what are monitoring system looks for
