TheMovieman
I have hotlinking enabled but notice that you can put in a URL to redirect to. How does that work? I have a hotlink warning image done but it doesn't seem to work and I've seen it done on other sites... When I enter an image URL, it just sits there and loads but nothing happens. When I stop it and refresh again, the address bar shows the hotlink image URL I had entered but again, it just sits there trying to load. Thanks, Brian
TCH-James
Brian, When you use hotlink protection, it will block images originating from your site. In order to do this you would either need to construct an allowance for this particular image or host it offsite with someone like Photobucket. TCH-James
Brian, As a followup due to playing with this, you can also just change the extension of your image. Just naming a jpeg file.jpe or a png file.pn will get around the hotlinking and let you present your Quit Hotlinking image.
