Mae Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 (edited) I use this all the time to create pdf files. It sure beats buying an expensive program. You simply upload your file and they email you the pdf, then save the file to your computer. It works like a charm! https://www.pdfonline.com/convert_pdf.asp Edited January 6, 2008 by Mae Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Thanks for the link, Mae. However, personally I don´t like to upload things that I do not know what the site do with after besides emailing me the pdf in this case. Why not give doPDF (dopdf.com) or PDF Creator (sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/) a try? Simply install it like any other program and then then tell Word for instance to print the document as a pdf file in the print box. Quote
Samrc Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I like the free PrimoPDF found here: h**p://www.primopdf.com/primopdf_free_idx.aspx This one is installed and acts just like a printer. Even offers encryption for your file. Quote
man1920 Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Any other people who aleardy got their pdf? Any reviews? Let us know about it. Thanks! Quote
Bob Crabb Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Since I use Open Office, I am spoiled by having the convenience of saving a document as a .pdf using one of its core features. Quote
OJB Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 I use CutePDF which acts as a virtual printer which you "print" your document to and it creates a PDF for you. Never had any problems with it, think it is quite nifty. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Welcome to the forums man1920 Since I have a copy of Adobe Acrobat that's what I use to create my PDF files. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Welcome to the forum, man1920. I´m still using doPDF that I mentioned earlier in the thread. Quote
Jeren Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 I am also an Open Office user. I personally like having the PDF option right there along with my other document type choices. Quote
