However, personally I don´t like to upload things that I do not know what the site do with after besides emailing me the pdf in this case.

 

Why not give doPDF (dopdf.com) or PDF Creator (sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/) a try? :)

Simply install it like any other program and then then tell Word for instance to print the document as a pdf file in the print box.

I like the free PrimoPDF found here: h**p://www.primopdf.com/primopdf_free_idx.aspx

This one is installed and acts just like a printer. Even offers encryption for your file.

I use CutePDF which acts as a virtual printer which you "print" your document to and it creates a PDF for you. Never had any problems with it, think it is quite nifty.

I am also an Open Office user. I personally like having the PDF option right there along with my other document type choices.
