DWD Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 My email was giving me the following error messages: Warning: preg_split() expects parameter 4 to be long, string given in /usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.8/functions/imap_messages.php on line 808 Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.8/functions/mime.php on line 52 ...which translated roughly means the email Gods are not happy...or something. Anyway, the problem was fixed by the TCH Support Desk, Alex Spaford, in just 3 minutes! Note, the response that TCH was working on it did not come in 3 minutes...the actual fix was done in 3 minutes after submission of the ticket. And this is an example of a ticket with the correct description of the issue, that we can fix rapidly... instead of just "email is not working..."
