htvqkoa
I upgraded to Wordpress 2.1 from 2.0. I knew I was going to have a lot of problems because of the Links Manager being deprecated in favor of the annoying Blogroll. I have managed to do some tweaks to fix the format of my sidebar, but now my posts are pushed down the page. I know there is an extra or missing div somewhere and I have been dealing with this for so long, I am no longer objective. Would someone with fresh eyes tell me what is going on with my theme? I don't even know where to go next. http://www.lauralohr.com Edited April 27, 2007 by htvqkoa
click
Unfortunately, it looks like there are quite a few problems with the html which may or may not be causing the problem. For instance, I see <li> tags that aren't inside <ul> tags, etc. (Even a second <html><head> section towards the bottom.) I would probably start by running it through the validator at http://validator.w3.org/ and work your way through whatever it finds. Maybe take a look at http://www.w3schools.com/ if you need help figuring out some of the html.

I changed the sidebar code for the wp_list_bookmarks tags and played with some CSS. I just cannot track down the cause of the posts being pushed so far down. htvqkoa
I have decided that it is just too much trouble to be so attached to the theme I am using. Time to start over
TCH-Thomas
I am not sure about this but I think TCH-Bruce uses the tiga theme you use, so hang in there and he might know the answer.
htvqkoa
OHHHH! That would be great! I really do love Tiga! Thank you for letting me know!
TCH-Bruce
The Tiga theme was updated in January. You can download a new copy here. Hope that helps.
htvqkoa
The Tiga theme was updated in January. You can download a new copy here. Hope that helps. That totally helped. When I updated the theme, I just over-wrote my index.php, sidebar.php, and I think that left me without necessary updates. It pays to individually enter that manually.
