Hi, I'm a PHP-Nuke user but I cannot find it in Fantastico anymore. What happened? Is it no longer included/supported? Why???

I do not remember ever seeing it in fantastico.

 

I would guess its not there for the same reason as PhpBb, too many security problems.

You can always download and install it yourself

but remember to keep it updated.

Please do not install the regular phpnuke from the phpnuke site. Even the new version 8.0 is full of security holes. Pm me if you want a phpnuke version that is very secure.

 

PS Don please do not make broad statements about phpbb. As you know I run a highly modded version of phpnuke and it runs phpbb but modded to work with nuke. And I challenge anyone here who may have some type of nasty little script to try and run it on my site. They will be in for one real nasty surprise.
