bwaxse
Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I'm looking for some information concerning how much to charge for the creation of a website. My school is looking to implement a campus-wide calendar that anyone can update. It would be tailored to the school, with login, all that jazz. I have background in php/mysql but I've never built the site for someone that I had to charge. Is there some sort of standard or some approximate rule that would help me? I know this is probably variable but any ballpark would really help. I would really appreciate any input! -Bennett
austin
I would check out: http://www.webmasterworld.com/ Lot of people who do work for others there, and you can probably find some really informative threads, especially as far as how to work with contracts, etc.
TCH-Bruce
Price varies by location. I recommend checking your local newspapers, calling around and see what others are charging to the same work. That would give you a better idea of what to charge.
