Rednarb Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 I used Fantastico to install phpBB on one of my sites, and I've since used Fantastico to keep that install up to date. Now phpBB is missing from my list of items in Fantastico on both of my sites. What's up? Quote
heyguy Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Somebody probably realized they forgot to uncheck the phpBB box when they set up Fantastico. Last I knew, the only board TCH offers through Fantastico is SMF. Quote
Henrietta Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 It has not been fun trying to do the job without Fantastico. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I would think that phpbb have been removed from Fantastico for to the same reasons as when it was removed from the scripts library. The linked thread also suggests that SMF are to be used instead and that there are a converter available on the Simple Machines Forum site. Quote
nortk Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Someone will correct me if I am wrong I will correct you ....it's still on my fantastico. I'm figuring it's there by mistake, but if it's on my server it may be scattered on a few others by mistake as well. Let me know if you need the server number so that it can be removed. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Open a ticket with the help desk and let them know which server you are on and they will get it removed. Quote
Head Guru Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 I have asked tchdick to make standard all the Fantastico installs across our server farm. He will update this thread once its been done. Quote
heyguy Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 it was removed from the scripts library Had a hard time finding it, but I knew that post was out there Quote
TCH-Dick Posted March 21, 2007 Posted March 21, 2007 We have updated the available Fantastico scripts on all servers. If you are using phpBB or any other script no longer listed, you will need to update your script manually. Quote
