Watch out from mail from josharnold@aol.com.

I got an e-mail saying "Please see the attached zip file for details." included with this was a zip file called "your_details.zip" .

My norton picked this up right when it was sent to me and took care of it but I was just letting you know to watch out for it! Kick Me

I got one like that the other day and bounced it back to the sender.... I never open a zip file sent thru email unless I am expecting one from someone I know..

I use a program called mailwasher.. It pre-checks my email for me before it goes to OE and give me the opportunity to block an email address and bounce it back to the sender as tho my email address is no longer valid. Great program... execept it's not free any longer.

I've gotten several of those lately, one of them had the subject RE: your application (I happen to be looking for job so i was all excited) opened the mail, saw the your_details.zip and deleted it...I was crushed I thought someone wanted to hire me lol

I never open attachments from anyone I do not know.. Most times I don't even open an email from someone I don't know unless it comes from a form on my website. ^_^

Yep, the best rule of thumb is just to never open attachements! I got to say I've gotten this same email once and I did a search finding out what it really was.. second best rule of thumb is to be suspecious of everything! Naughty

Dunno if your interested but a slightly earlier version (1.24) of MailWasher can be found here and should support multiple accounts.

EDIT

My apologies - although the website SAYS 1.24 it is in fact the latest version ^_^
