heyguy
Usually I use the View New Posts link to read through the forums, but this morning it keeps giving me the "wait for 20 seconds as the admin has enabled flood control" message. But no matter how long I wait it always tells me to wait some more. Is it broken, or am I broken?
TCH-Bruce
Sounds like you are broken. It's working for me.
heyguy
Hmmm...magically after Bruce replies it's working again.
Deverill
I have had a very similar thing happen several times lately and the fix for me (using Firefox) is to clear the private data (cache). Something makes the forums hang but when I clear the cache it works again.
TCH-Bruce
The problem heyguy was having was caused by the cpanel bug that set the server time ahead by 12 hours. It's been corrected.
TCH-Thomas
It was kind of interesting though, looking into the future for a while.
knate5000
How is the future? What will tomorrow be like? I wonder!
TCH-Bruce
Don't know it was only 12 hours into the future and that was corrected 18 hours ago.
TCH-Don
So if you posted a question you could answer yourself yesterday? I am confused
nortk
The problem heyguy was having was caused by the cpanel bug that set the server time ahead by 12 hours. It's been corrected. Apparently fixed for heyguy, but not thisguy. I'm having the same problem...firefox and ie both...even after clearing the cache. Not a big deal...only slightly frustrating. TCH-Bruce
Weird, I access this forum from three different locations and having no problems from any of them. For an example of the time issue look at this thread. You will notice the first three posts in this thread were time stamped later than the rest of them. makaveli
this has happened on another non tch hosted forum i use as well as Invision Power Services forum, wonder what was happening!
TCH-Bruce
The other host is probably running cpanel and has been hit with the same bug.
moogie
I had the same problem yesterday. Or was that today or even tomorrow. Bah...I was never very good at math.
