AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! IT ISNT IN MY CGI BIN! And I am about to bite off my legs ahhHH!!!

It's not supposed to be in your cgi-bin directory. Please read the thread I mentioned earlier and look at the format. It actually is pretty easy to use once you see the format of the ACTION code.

thats odd it is NOWHERE!!!!! cgi-sys/cgiemail

Please read the thread I mentioned carefully. The /cgi-sys directory is not in your webspace, it is a systemwide directory that all can use. If you follow the directions in the thread it will work.

Hey Zethilone,

Are you still looking for a form processor?

I needed some kind of script for forms on the site I'm working on now, so I began to look into CGI for form processing. But I wasn't familiar with all the syntax, and it was taking FOREVER to understand. I knew there was an easier way.

So I ended up writing my own form processor in PHP. It basically uses one PHP file that uses a switch statement to control what form on the site was submitted.

If Zethilone needed some help with a simple one, I would gladly write one for him.

I'm surprised this topic is still alive and kicking. (Just grumpy this morning from too many sit-ups yesterday.)

1- There are approximately a bazillion form processors prewritten and moderately userful.

2- I wrote a script that anyone is welcome to user, borrow, alter, etc. It's pinned in the scripting forum under Ultimate Form Mail. I did my best to make it easy to use and configure. It does a lot of stuff other scripts don't.

3- CPanel has a formmail clone

Thanks for the post, Surefire.

I try to write my own too to gain experience for further development projects. (and to build up my resume to find a job!!!)

Job prospects stink around here.. :)
