tjlitzi Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 OK, I feel like an idiot becuase I don't actually see a forum for email issues but I don't use Outlook much and I have no idea why it wouldn't be able to send my emails. I am getting " Task 'mail.blueborderdesign.com - Sending' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'The connection to the server was interrupted. If this problem continues, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).'" Is this a pronlem on my end? I have sent and received email at this address before so I am not sure what could have gone wrong in the meantime. TIA Tracy Quote

TCH-Andy Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 It's Magic Welcome to the forums Tracy I'm glad it's sorted. If it happens again, the quickest way to get support on such things is via the help desk (link at the top of the page). Remember to use a different email address than the one you are having problems with for us to reply to though. Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted August 5, 2006 Posted August 5, 2006 Welcome to the forum, Tracy I'm guessing that your outgoing mail magically went becuase you popped your account after it failed to send the first time. You need to be sure you configure your outgoing SMTP to authenticate you before sending. You must login with your email address and password before you can send a message. Or you need to pop your mail before sending. The server will remember you logged in for a short period of time. See this help page. Quote
