dpkyte Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Looking in CPANEL I do not see an option to set up the PHP Bulletin Board. Where did it go? Quote
Just_Rob Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Mine shows under "Scripts Library" next to YABB. Quote
nortk Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Yes, you can find a version in the Scripts Library. However, you can't always be certain that you are getting the latest version with all the most recent security fixes. For example, my CPanel lists version 2.0.20, but the latest version at phpBB.com is 2.0.21. You can install from CPanel, but then you should then update your installation to the current version. Or, you can just skip the CPanel install altogether and download and install the latest version by downloading from phpBB.com Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Or, you can just skip the CPanel install altogether and download and install the latest version by downloading from phpBB.com That would be the preferred method. cPanel is always 1 or 2 revisions behind. It's your responsibility to keep your scripts updated. Quote
mwapnits Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 When I go to scripts library, I get a message cPAddon Scripts v0.5.7 You currently are set to receive a notice when updates for your installs are available. Click here to turn it off. Nothing more. Quote
TCH-Tim Posted July 12, 2006 Posted July 12, 2006 You should probably open a help desk ticket then. Don't forget to provide the information on the form. Quote
