llama_thumper
hi all, was wondering if i would be able to create something like this with frontpage: http://www.mobile360.co.uk/display....riff=xnet&gift= (ignore the buying part) I just want a database, which can be based on an excel spreadsheet (not a must, but since I am a newbie this would be good). it should be able to do simple calculations (eg number of months times monthly rate) and be able to show me, just like in the above example, what i am looking for, at a click. is it possible to do this with frontpage, or where do i have to look? many thanks for any advice! TCH-Thomas
I am sorry that no one have responded yet, but there is no need to bump a thread (see the Forum Guidelines), we do read every message. If someone knows the answer, he or she will respond.
jnull
If using FrontPage and you are on a Windows server you can easily create a database, or and excel sheet with forms. Suggest you upgrade to FrontPage 2003 and use it as it is much better for this purpose. FrontPage contains a tutorial on how to, or you can visit http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/FX010858021033.aspx where you should also find a tutorial on how to ... but move fast to that URL cuz Microsoft is moving away from FrontPage.
