Do Subdomains Have Separate Dns Addresses?

Recommended Posts

I recently acquired another person's website which I have added onto my site as a subdomain. (http://theblobsite.filmbuffonline.com) I've also been transfered the Registration to the original site (www.theblob.info).

Do subdomains generate their own DNS addresses so that I can set the original site to automatically refer to the subdomain at my site? If so, where on the cPanel can I find it?

Thanks guys and gals!

Bob is right, FilmBuff.

You aren't allowed to host multiple sites, or have domain names point to your subdomains if you don't have a reseller account. Note, however that reseller accounts are allowed to do this.

If you have a reseller account and you have questions about using it with multiple domains, then you might post a question in the resellers forum, as there are many TCH customers in that forum who can help you.

Best wishes.
