ejh
I suppose this is really a reply to the topic I created in FrontPage discussion, "Borders Problem," but by now it's more appropriate to be over here. I read the CSS-Tutorial on this website (http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=5451) as recommended, but I'm still lost as to how this can solve my problem. I need the border color for a website I've created in FrontPage to be consistent throughout the different browsers. Anyone know of a different tutorial that could help me... or have any advice? As always, thanks!
stevevan
Try CSS Layout techniques, The layout reservoir, and maxdesign. I've used bits and pieces from each of these sites. While I'm not an expert by any means, I am a lot more knowledgable than I was when I started.
TCH-Don
Here are a few sites for beginner CSS CSS Beginner's Guide CSS 101 A quick introduction to Cascading Style Sheets CSS: An Introduction CSS tutorial from w3.org Bare Bones, CSS Text Control Primer However I strongly recommend that instead you purchase a book on learning CSS as a book can go into more detail than any web site this is important so you understand the basics and a book can be a good reference source later. I started with a book from SAMS called CSS in 24 Hours. SAMS has a great series of 24 Hours books for HTML and PHP as well.
stevevan
And don't forget the "...for Dummies" books! They make things very simple to grasp and understand. I have several.
Deverill
By the way, there is no such thing as consistent throughout different browsers. You can get pretty doggon close, but nothing guarantees exactly the same results.
