Kevan
Thanks Steve. Firefox installed this update automatically, shortly after I opened the browser. All I had to do was click OK to the Restart Firefox? prompt. That was even easier than clicking the extra icon under the maximize button in the top rigtht corner! (only shows when an update is ready)
TCH-Bruce
Thanks Steve I like the new auto update feature too
TCH-Thomas
Firefox installed this update automatically, shortly after I opened the browser. Mine didn´t. I had to move the mouse about 20 cm up on the screen, click, scroll, click, click again... But it´s worth it to keep the browser up to date. Kevan
Maybe your browser is setup for manual updates? The update settings can be found under Tools | Options | Advanced | Update Look under "When updates to Firefox are found:" The one thing I don't know how to set (or even IF it can be set) is how often to check for updates.... I noticed earlier versions did not check very often, one PC setup didn't check until a week after my first system updated.
TCH-Bruce
Mine did not notify me and it is set to check for updates but under the Help menu there is a check for updates link. I used that to update mine.
TCH-Thomas
Yep, mine is set up for auto updates as well. I used the update button which I forgot to add to my previous post.
