motarque
Ok, here's the situation: We're working with a company for whom we bought the domain and server space from TCH. The plan was to get a public IP address, point the MX records to that IP addy and have the email inhouse. Aparently the ISP is stupid and we can't get a public IP, so there's no way to host email....or is there? The question is this: Without a Public IP, is there anyway to use the Exchange Server in conjunction with TCH's email so we can store the email inhouse on their server? If not, is there anyway to store email on the server, perhaps without using Exchange? I hope I'm making sense...if not, i'll try to clarify if needed. Thanks in advance. TCH-Bruce
To have your own Exchange server you would need a static IP address. But yes, you can store mail on the TCH servers and access it either with webmail, IMAP or POP clients.
