zeegirl
Hi there - I'm wondering if there is a way to set someone up with limited access to a website's files and information? Basically, I want to create an account with limited access, so that another person can make changes to one or two different pages on the site but cannot make changes to everything. Is there a way to give limited access to the control panel? I'd love some suggestions. Thanks! ~Lindsey
TCH-Rob
In short, no. You can give them FTP access to specific areas if you want though.
abinidi
Or you could use a CMS that gives different permissions to different areas of the site. For example, you can use WordPress in combination with some plugins that allow you to totally customize what content different users can access, edit, etc.
TCH-JimE
Hello Linsey, If its just pages, I would suggest a CMS, something like Joomla JimE
abinidi
In case you don't know, there are a bunch of one-click installs of CMSs in your Fantastico module in cPanel. You can try them out and see if they will meet your needs. It couldn't really be any easier!
