jayson Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I may get reemed for posting it here, but this does have to do with a HTML situation. I have .PDF files on my site, and I do not really like it. I have looked for the past 4-5 months for a low test, free (or low cost) pdftohtml converter, and everyone I have looked at (it is about 50 now) are either in the hundreds or do not work, or work real well, but instead of the text, it is filled with the words "demo". Is there one out there that I can use, or works great? Thanks Quote
TCH-Don Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 I found this one from google http://www.pdf995.com/ PdfEdit995 offers a wealth of additional functionality, such as: combining documents into a single PDF; automatic link insertion; hierarchical bookmark insertion; PDF conversion to formatted HTML Quote
jayson Posted March 6, 2006 Author Posted March 6, 2006 tryed the pdf995, I installed it, but could not figure out how to convert from pdf to html, just how to save the pdf as a pdf. But I will give it another try.. Thanks Quote

stevevan Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 Well, their page did say it was a SUITE of products, so maybe the products depend on each other to run. Anyways...glad to hear you got it working! Any review or evaluation on it you want to share with the family? Quote
jayson Posted March 11, 2006 Author Posted March 11, 2006 I think it iss great, it is freeware to a point, you get a sponsor popup on your computer, but it is just for the sponsors prodruct, it doesnot add spy/add/malware to your system. It is 9.95 per program (3 of them) or 19.95 for the suite. It does what it says, I converted all my sons newsletters from PDF to HTML and did not lose a thing. You can see the out come at: www.jaysarahandy.com click the newsletter link. I am kind of concidering buying the program. Quote
surefire Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 You can also email your pdf to a gmail account and view the attachment as html when you log into Gmail. Not very clean html... and images are missing... but the price is right. Quote
jayson Posted March 11, 2006 Author Posted March 11, 2006 well, I really need the images, that is what I need otherwise I could no a copy and past of the text. But thanks for the idea Quote
