Purchase More Bandwith Without Upgrading Plan?

Is it possible to purchase more bandwidth without upgrading to a larger plan?

 

Example: if I purchase the starter plan and one month I need more bandwidth do I:

 

a.) buy more bandwidth just for that month

b.) forced to upgrade to Silver plan

c.) other
