Hi Deyaeddin,

Yes you can install Xoops and Mambo.

-> Xoops It is very easy install.

-> Mambo of the a little of work but.

This link has some instructions sobrea installation : http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/i...l=mambo+install

-> DotProject and Typo3 I have opinion therefore never I used.

Perhaps someone here can think.

As it said TCH-Rob "We will always be willing to offer assistance should you have questions when installing a script."

Welcome to the forums, DeyaEddin :flex:

The most common problems installing scripts are not setting the folder and file permissions

as per their instructions

and not setting the database up correctly

as in creating the database and user but not adding the user to the database in MySql in cpanel

and not adding the cpanel name to the database name and user name

so the right way to use a databse is

Be sure that in MySql you

1 - created the database

2 - created a user

3 -added the user to the database (go back to MySql and find the Add user

select the user and database, and then Add user to database)

Then to connect to the database in a script use:

host: localhost

database: yourCpanelName_databaseName

user: yourCpanelName_databaseUser

password: mypassword

* Note password is just as the password,

do not add the CpanelName to it.

---------------------------

As mentioned there will always be some one here to try to help.

I just installed dotProject from the CPanel today, it worked, and I've been entering info into it all day. Suddenly it is not accessible anymore. I just get a not found page - like it doesn't exist. It still shows as existing in the Cpanel, but even the link to it from there is broken. Can anyone help me out with this?
