Twisted Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 What do you sugust I use for my default e-mail for my hosting account. I currently use hotmail to get all my admin stuff but hotmail locked one of my other accounts and I am afraid they will lock my other msn also because they are gay. I hate msn and yahoo. I can do without both of them. I would use my ISP e-mail but I may be changing isps soon. What does everybody else use for their e-mail accounts to get all their info? I need a secure e-mail service that won't be locked for stupid reasons. Quote
Larry Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 I always just use my yahoo account.. have for a few years.. Quote

TCH-Andy Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 How about mail.com? or bigfoot? I've used both in the past without to much trouble Although I did leave mail.com when they started wanting to charge me Andy Quote
Twisted Posted May 13, 2003 Author Posted May 13, 2003 I just got finished checking out mail.com. I almost signed up but I don't think they are that stable since they just moved from email.com to mail.com. Seems they can't make up their mind. What is the site for bigfoot? Quote
Twisted Posted May 13, 2003 Author Posted May 13, 2003 hmm don't see anything about mail on that site. Quote
SEO Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 I have had a 'trash' email account at netscape.net for... well darn near a decade. Quote
rayners Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 I've had great success with http://www.gmx.net. Though, I did get in before they changed their interface to be only German. Now I just use it as a POP account, so I don't even have to try and decipher it. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 The free email forwarding is http://www.bigfoot.com/ef/index.jsp and the webmail (pay) is http://www.bigfoot.com/ef/infopage.jsp?sho...webmail.default I use the free forwarding (and have for about 10 years) which means whenever I change ISP etc I still have an email link. rayners Posted May 13, 2003 Posted May 13, 2003 Well, they are based in Germany. The used to have an English language interface on their site, but that has since changed. If you can translate it, it's a great free account to have. I've never had any problems with it. I just don't use the web interface much anymore. Quote
