lanys
Hello, If i add My sub domain. But i want, that directory would be in www.myhost.com/dir1/dir2/dir3. And when people connect with ftp, that they could copy files to dir3? It is possible? If my question is not very clear, i will try to make it clever ;-] Thanks in advance... TCH-Thomas
Hi and welcome to the forum. I am not sure if I understand you correct but if I do... A subdomain isn´t anything but a subfolder so, subdomain.your-tch-hosted-domain.com would be same as your-tch-hosted-domain.com/subfolder So making a subdomain of your-tch-hosted-domain.com/dir1/dir2/dir3 is not possible, but I can be wrong on this so lets wait for someone to confirm this (or correct me). TCH-Bruce
Welcome to the forum lanys I tested this. If you create the folder dir1 in the public_html folder then dir2 inside dir1 and dir3 inside dir2. Then create an FTP user and then enter /dir1/dir2/dir3 into the box where you create the ftp user it will log them into the dir3 folder when they login. Everything above dir3 will be invisible to them.
