chroniker
I just found out that the manufacturing company that I work for is considering expanding it's web presence and it's customer relations by offering our customers a way to check on their projects via the web. Since I went and opened my mouth I get to do some leg work. What I am looking for is a way for our customers to log in and be restricted to just what pertains to their project and nothing else. The information that will need to be available are current/realtime photos and project manager, engineering and sales notes that will be generated through the life of the project. I know just enough about what is available to make a bad decision. I've seen Mambo but I don't know much about it. What are your recommendations and why? Thank you in advance for your input. GroovyFish
A while ago I was looking for Project Managment software and looked at a couple programs. I remember thinking that phpCollab (php-collab.org) looked pretty interesting, but other things got in the way and I never went any further with it. Check hotscripts.com, there are quite a few PM programs out there.
chroniker
I don't think they want to go with a project management program. Just something where the customer can see where things are today and look back in history. Just notes, comments and pic's.
