surefire Posted June 4, 2005 Posted June 4, 2005 It's called Static Jack. It makes it very easy to upload static files (php, html, etc) to your server and have them automagically woven into your current template/theme. Requires WordPress 1.5+ and permalinks on. As it's my first plugin, I'd love some feedback. And since it's free, opensource, I assume there's no issue with linking to the page: Static Jack Quote

surefire Posted June 4, 2005 Author Posted June 4, 2005 Thanks... I love it to. But it's not my creation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Automagically Quote
Deverill Posted June 5, 2005 Posted June 5, 2005 Trivia fact: It's actually much older than that. I first found it in JARGON.TXT which became known as the Hacker's Dictionary - a wholly remarkable book that originated around 1975-ish and contained the terms the "Hackers" of the day used. You can find it online with any search engine "Hacker's Dictionary" query. Computer geeks just have to be special and use our - er, uhem - their own sub-language to make the outsiders feel --- well, outside. Quote
