okay...so i had my domain on another hosting service and my email address what also on that domain (ie digitalfiredesigns.com and my email is josh@digitalfiredesigns.com) anywho....so i transferred hosting to totalchoice today and so my question is...when people email me at "josh@digitalfiredesigns.com" will it keep going through my old hosting companies mail servers until my domain name is fully propagated?

Before I switched hosting last time I changed the email at my old host to redirect all mail to my email account through my ISP. Before propagation has completed mail could go to both your old and new host accounts.

Yeah, it'll depend on how "fresh" the originating mail server's DNS service and cache are. You'll find that after one day you start getting some e-mails, but it may take up to a week for some networks to find your new home. If your old host has shut down your domain and mail accounts, some mail servers will keep trying several times to reach you, so some of the mail you thought you "missed" might show up days later.
