Webmail Client

Hi all,

 

Just got my new account and have been clicking around in the cpanel

 

I would like to set up email, but see there is a choice of 3 clients. I am not familiar with any of them, so no idea which one to choose. Does it matter? Anyone have any preferences?

 

Also if I choose one of them, can I also in addition set up outlook express to receive some of my emails?

I use Horde, mostly because it allows me as the admin to easily look into users' inboxes and fix any problems. For just webmail, Squirrel is OK. I haven't used Neomail much.

 

You can set up any POP mail account on as many clients as you want and still use webmail when necessary.

I concur with Steve: Horde is a much more sophisticated application, allowing you to monitor and administer the accounts of all mailbox owners.

 

For simle checking of email on the web I also use SquirrelMail - the interface is fast and simple.
