TCH-Thomas Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 We have the worst storm and rain in years this night (1.10am here) the weather guys says. And I agree its raining alot. No idea to even try to sleep until it calms down. So guys, I wonder, what do you keep yourself entertained with when you can not sleep for some reason? Besides visiting this forum that is. Quote
Deverill Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Something mindless from miniclip.com usually... but I never have problems sleeping. Quote

TCH-RobertM Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Hey Thomas, sounds like a wicked storm to keep you up like this. I would tell you what I do but it would probably just give you nightmares and that wont help much with sleep. good luck getting rest Quote
whoahorse Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 I watch old re-runs of Cheers...LOL Weezy Quote
Samrc Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 If weather permits, I go on the TCH forum to see who else is awake. Otherwise I reach for a book to either read, or write something down. I keep a notepad beside the bed. I sometimes wake up and can not get back to sleep if something is rolling around in my head over and over. I have found that if I write it down that seems to release it from my mind. (If I can't remember where I put something or have some other problem I can not work out, I will concentrate on it before going to bed going over all the info I have. Then I often wake up certain of the answer. Sometimes I come up with some new pattern, new idea or a different configuration than what I could envision when awake. Convenient sometimes!) -Samantha Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted January 9, 2005 Author Posted January 9, 2005 I followed Jims advice and visited miniclip. They had lots of fun stuff, but I ended up playing "Pengapop" for an hour. TCH-Rob: I go streaking. wink.gif I thought of that, but no...I don´t wanna get cold. Thanks everyone. Quote
TCH-Don Posted January 9, 2005 Posted January 9, 2005 Gives new meaning to "Party at Robs house" Quote
DWD Posted January 10, 2005 Posted January 10, 2005 Never have trouble...I just pass out. One advantage of being seriously sleep deprived with only 3-5 hours many nights. Waking up is a b***h, but falling a sleep is a breeze. Quote
danceswithscissors Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 I go streaking. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This explains the sirens I've been hearing out on Bell Rd, doesn't it Rob? Quote
Deverill Posted January 14, 2005 Posted January 14, 2005 You'd better hope not - those police have some pretty painful ways to stop streakers... www.wftv.com/news/4078388/detail.html (Or was that you rob?) Quote
