25PSi
Hi all. Anyone has any idea on how to make a DIRECT link to Horde email client? I do not want to log in and choose one of the 3, I want to be able to go straight to HORDE. I like it best. Perhaps some call script or something. Can anyone help, please. Thanks in advance. Virtual Imager
Log in, choose Horde, go to your Inbox and then bookmark it or add it to your favorites. It will come up with the log-in dialog box all filled in and all you have to do is click it each time. Works for me.
TCH-Thomas
Is this what you are looking for? http://www.domain.com:2095/horde/index.php Also, moving for organization.
25PSi
http://www.domain.com:2095/horde/index.php is not what i am trying to get. If you follow that link it'll pop a window and will ask you to log in, then you can choose one of 3 email clients. I would like to put link DIRECTLY to Horde on my site. So you can click link and be taken to Horde login interface. Am i explaning it well? Eugene
TCH-Thomas
I can be wrong but I dont think that it is possible with another way than this. Sorry. Edit: I read your reply once more which says: If you follow that link it'll pop a window and will ask you to log in, then you can choose one of 3 email clients. In my case the standard windows login box shows up yes, but then I am directly directed to horde without having access to neomail or squirrelmail. TCH-Dick
Just use this http://www.cpanelappz.com/cpanel-login-script.htm
Virtual Imager
I use both IE and Netscape 7.0. It works in both for me. As I said above I initially bookmarked my Horde Inbox... this is the URL that pops up when I click on the bookmark so I figured 25PSi could create a direct link from it. Thanks... where was I again? Virtual Imager
By the way.... I like the bookmark better than a link from my site because with the bookmark I can get to it from any site I happen to be on. Most of the time I'm on this forum site so a link from my own site would be an extra step. So long as my browser is open I can go straight to Horde using the bookmark (or favorites as they're called in IE). Straight to Horde... hmmmmmmm, sounds like somewhere more than a few people would like to send me!
25PSi
TCH-Dick, Thanx for that info, i think it is ewxactly what i want. Any pointers on how to work this script? It is not really clear and all. Eugene
TCH-Dick
Actually you dont have to do anything but upload the files. You rename anywhere.php to whatever you want and just use it or include it in a page. I looked at it again though and this isn't going to work either. I'll see if it can be modified to fit your needs or find a better route.
tamda
Try a link like this: http://******:2082/horde/index.php That link works for me. Waht browser are you using? Welcome home by the way. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Hi Rob, I am also trying to use Horde as my prefer webmail client and tried your link but it guides me to CPANEL instead of logging into Horde mail. I use IE and Firefox. Both with same result.. -Dave
tamda
Ok...never mind, the link should be http://****:2095/horde/index.php, not http://****:2082/horde/index.php Also, is it possible to eliminate the second login? Once the IE login comes up and I entered my information, Horde mail asked me to login again. However, all I really needed to do is click login b/c the rest of the login information has been filled in for me. But I still think having to click LOGIN the second is unnecessary. Anyone knows how to eliminate this second step? -Thx.
TCH-Rob
Sorry about that. I had just pasted that from my address bar after logging in.
