whoahorse Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 All the old sites seems to be AWOL? What are people using now to find free skins? Weezy Quote
TCH-Bruce Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I just did a quick search with Google on "Invision skins" and came up with several. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 (edited) h*tp://www.invisionskins.com/ h*tp://invisionize.com/index.php Are 2 good resources. Edited November 23, 2004 by TCH-Thomas Quote
whoahorse Posted November 24, 2004 Author Posted November 24, 2004 THANKS THOMAS! That helped a ton! Weezy Quote
whoahorse Posted March 30, 2005 Author Posted March 30, 2005 http://www.invisionskins.com/ Is a great site in case anyone is looking in the future. (one that Thomas mentioned) Weezy Quote
carbonize Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 My main gripe with IPB and it's skins is the fac tthey are stored as MySQL fields which makes it harder to edit manually. I only had the efault skin on my copy of IPB2 but it was still taking up almost 5MB of MySQL space. Quote
whoahorse Posted March 31, 2005 Author Posted March 31, 2005 I wonder if a person can load a skin for a different version of Invision board? LOL I found a kewl orange skin, but its a different format? Weezy Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Or you can make your own IPB skin, Weezy. Quote
abinidi Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 h*tp://www.invisionskins.com/h*tp://invisionize.com/index.php Are 2 good resources. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Out of curiosity, why did you replace one of the 't's with a *? So it wouldn't make a link? Why? (Is it a best practice or something that I'm not aware of?) Quote
whoahorse Posted March 31, 2005 Author Posted March 31, 2005 Or you can make your own IPB skin, Weezy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OMG You think I can do that? WOW, that's giving me alot of credit!!! I am a when it comes to PHP! Weezy Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 Hi, We do that sometimes when we don´t want to make an actual link for various reasons. To make a non active link you can either do the * as above or highlight the url and choose to make it another color (see above) like example.net. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted March 31, 2005 Posted March 31, 2005 It´s really easy to do it, Weezy. Atleast if you do the basic things. PM me and I tell you how. Quote
