I received an email just before 2:00 am this moring. Here is what the date of the email is in my inbox:

Date:  Thu, November 18, 2004 9:56 pm
I figured it was the senders server/computer that had the different date and that it would show up when I displayed the full header. But everthing in the header shows todays date the 17th (my domain changed to "domain"):

Anyone have any input as to why the email is displayed with tomorrows date?

The date on the sending computer was set wrong, it had the date of the 18th. Outlook and Outlook Express places the system date and time on the inside of emails. The header information will be the date and time from the email server and is usually correct.
