Andrew Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I created a new e-mail account (blog@kantor.com) specifically to be used for posting to my blog via e-mail. I've created many a POP account. Trouble is, the mail I send to it from work, from home, wherever, never actually appears. I log in without a hitch (thru Neomail), but the Inbox remains empty. Any ideas? I can't see any problem with forwarders, and I'm not using SpamAssassin. It just ... disappears. Andrew PS: I even try sending TO that account FROM that account. No dice. Quote
TCH-Thomas Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 I dont have any ideas what the problem is, but it sounds to me that you need to submit a ticket to the techs about this. Link on top of page. Quote
jslagle Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Andrew - little Off Topic but I noticed Roanoke Va on your sig file. We have a weekend place on Leesville Lake by Alta Vista and live in Hamilton, west of Leesburg. Quote
Andrew Posted November 4, 2004 Author Posted November 4, 2004 Leesville Lake? I've only been here a coupla months, so I have to plead "No clue." But Hamilton -- I know where that is! (I work for the Roanoke Times, btw. Don't know if you get that in Hamilton.) Quote
jslagle Posted November 4, 2004 Posted November 4, 2004 Leesville Lake? I've only been here a coupla months, so I have to plead "No clue." But Hamilton -- I know where that is! (I work for the Roanoke Times, btw. Don't know if you get that in Hamilton.) Leesville Lake is downstream from Smith Mountain Lake both AEP hydro-electric lakes. It's east of Roanoke 30 miles or so on 43 and 20 miles s of Lynchburg off of 29. We pick up the Times on the weekends. We're also in Roanoke several times a year for dog shows, actually the Salem Civic Center. If you haven't been there try Jersey Lilys Roadhouse and Grill. Great steaks. I think it is on Orange Ave, 221, 460, etc. Hope you get your mail problem resolved soon. The help desk folks are pretty good. Quote
TCH-Don Posted November 5, 2004 Posted November 5, 2004 Andrew, you might create another e-mail account to see if any new accounts work like blog2@ just a thought. Quote
Andrew Posted November 5, 2004 Author Posted November 5, 2004 Nope -- no SA. But it looks like the techs fixed the problem, whatever it was. (As usual!) Suddenly my inbox is full of all those missing messages. Yay, TCH! Quote
