Guest Cheryl Gonzalez Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 I have hosted one domain and like the ease and support I see. I have multiple domains so what is the best way to set up each of these with your hosting? Quote
Junior Posted March 26, 2003 Posted March 26, 2003 It depends on how many you want to host. If you have several, you may want to look into a reseller account. Our simple reseller account only costs $19.99 per month, so you may be better off going the reseller account, to save money on the hosting. Quote
roadtoretire Posted April 8, 2003 Posted April 8, 2003 Can I change my current account over to that? Cheryl Gonzalez I checked the page and talked to live support! Boy are they Fast and Efficient Quote
TCH-JimE Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Cheryl, Drop a ticket to the help desk explaining all and I believe they should be able to do this for you. Unless you done it already of course Jim Quote
roadtoretire Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Unfortunately, the Help Desk is not operating. I put in my domain username and password and it keeps kicking me into a circle. It says "Thanks for logging in" and takes me right back to the login page?? Talk about frustrating. Quote
Lianna Posted April 9, 2003 Posted April 9, 2003 Cheryl, Send an email to tony@totalchoicehosting.com Let him know of your trouble getting into the helpdesk. He should be able to get you fixed up right away. Quote
knucklehead Posted April 15, 2003 Posted April 15, 2003 It is not the help desk that is causing your problems. One of two problems is happening on your account. You or someone else is already logged in using your account information. or The cookie on your PC for the help desk has been corrupted or is damaged. Quote
Guest Dan Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 How about just two domain names? Can those be hosted with a regular hosting account? Quote
TCH-Sales Posted April 24, 2003 Posted April 24, 2003 Yes Dan, you'd still need a reseller account, unless you wanted to park one domain on top of the other, having both addresses going to the same site. Quote
Guest Guest Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 Granted I know next to nothing about webhosting but that doesn't seem right from a financial standpoint. To host my 2 domains on your cheapest reseller account would cost $20 for 550meg of space and 8gig of transfer. However, if I were to purchase two of your cheapest individual web hosting plans I would pay $8 for 600meg of space and 11gig of transfer. Getting 2 plans would of course be the best way to go. Unfortunately I really don't need all that, all I have is a little forum for me and some friends and my family site. I'll have to think this over. Of course I may have it all wrong, and if I do I sure hope you can set me right. Quote
matman Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 If you really want two seperate domain names to point to two seperate web sites, you'll need two accounts (or one reseller account, which is really like having one account plus the ability to set up as many additional accounts as you want all on your own. If you just have two domains/websites, it would definitely be cheaper to get two regular accounts rather than one reseller account. At the TCH price for a starter account, it is pretty reasonable to just get two! Clearly you may not need 300MB of space for each site, but the real cost of each account is the support and setup involved (that's why you can get double the space and bandwidth for just one buck/month!) MoonFaery Posted April 25, 2003 Posted April 25, 2003 The $4/month is hard to beat. You won't find that anywhere else with an equally good customer server/tech crew My household has to go to a reseller account though cause of all our domains Quote
