borfast
From http://mail.mozilla.org/pipermail/press-li...ust/000010.html The Mozilla Foundation today released new versions of the Mozilla 1.7 suite, Firefox 0.9 and Thunderbird 0.7, addressing three security vulnerabilities. Details about the vulnerabilities can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/projects/security/k...ml#mozilla1.7.2. Please note that, as usual, we have been able to fix these security vulnerabilities before malicious hackers took advantage of them, meaning that our users have NOT been exposed to malicious code. Security is our highest priority, and we will continue to be open and proactive in seeking to identify and fix security vulnerabilities before they are exploited, as evidenced earlier this week by the announcement of our new Security Bug Bounty Program. If you use any of these products, be sure to go to http://www.mozilla.org/ and download the updated versions. PS - Madman, this time I was faster than you! kaseytraeger
By serendipity, I upgraded Firefox on my computer last night before I saw this post. I installed v0.9.3. Does anyone know if this is the most recent version, or will I need to reinstall? By the way, Raul, the first website you list: From http://mail.mozilla.org/pipermail/press-li...st/000010.html: gives me a 404 error page when I try to visit it. Can you find that page again and repost the link? Also, thanks for keeping us up-to-date an all kinds of security issues. You and Madman are like the TCH's own personal security sentinels! borfast
Kasey, 0.9.3 is the latest version, so you're up to date, now. As for the link, the problem was that I had a ':' in the end.
