Access Problems

This morning, I could access my site at www.pabagency.com and it was on the new server. Now I cannot. I can tell because on the main page, it should have the word 'new' in the top left area. I did this so i could tell when the domain had transfered to TCH. What I don't understand is why now I'm seeing the site from my old server. I had created a new subdomain (mail.pabagency.com) and that won't work any more either. Why did it work 2 hours ago, but now won't work? I reset the router and cable modem.. I did the tracert command and here are the results:

C:\Documents and Settings\Michael>tracert mail.pabagency.com

:whip: Welcome to the family, pabagency ;)

When did you sign up for your account? There is a 24-72 hour for domain propogation to be updated.

During that time depending on which DNS server you connect to through your ISP you will either see your old site or your new site.

I have checked your domain whois and you do have the correct DNS servers listed for here at TCH. So it's just a matter of time for all the DNS servers to catch up.

I got my confirmation at 11:55AM EST yesterday. I realize that there is a waiting period for the DNS servers and whatnot, I guess the only reason I asked what was going on was because I could see everything this morning from home, and when I got to work I could see everything from another machine, but within an hour or so I was back to the other host and the email was going to the other webmail account. Thanks for replying and I'm looking forward to your service and reliability. Heck, anything can be better than where I was! Thumbs Up

Hi,

Welcome to the family :whip:

It is perfectly normal for it to "flip-flop" between been able to see your site, and not during propagation.

It is also normal to be able to see it from a computer on one ISP and not on another.

It will settle down soon (24-72 hours, as Bruce says).

 Welcome to the Family Paul

and your new home!

I saw the old at home earlier, but now I see the new at work.

It sometimes does take 72 hours to settle down, and e-mail may lag a little longer.

Not much you can do but wait

By the way hi neighbor

Im from near Midland MI.

We really are like family here.

So if you need anything,

just ask your new family!

We love to help :)
