talasila
Hi, Hopefully someone can help me. I've opened a couple of tickets and nothing's been resolved yet. The problem is that I'm unable to access my site (www.talasilas.org) - but for some reason who ever handles my ticket seems to be able to access my site!!! The only thing my browser (FireFox) does is to come back with a server timed out message. The tech support person suggested that there might be some routing problem on my end - if so, what can be done about that? I'm able to visit all other sites without any problem. Any hints? Thanks, Sreenivas
DarqFlare
It loads for me. Go to Start->Run->Type in "cmd" Once in the command box, type tracert www.talasilas.org and give us the results.

Head Guru
I am so sorry to see your having access problems. I have Alan (our Lead Administrator) looking into this now. He will post a update here for you. Bill
TCH-Alan
Hi, I've opened a ticket with out datacenter to see if they can trace the problem. The traceroute from our server to your IP address shows the problem is on your end. So it's possible the problem is somewhere in the middle . I'll update you as soon as I hear back from the datacenter.
talasila
Thanks for all your help guys. Cheers, Sreenivas
TCH-Alan
We've received a reply from our datacenter and they can confirm that everything is working on our side. We are not blocking any IPs. I can get to www.talasilas.org without any problems. It is possible that the problem may be with your ISP. The only suggestion that I have is that you should contact your ISP. Head Guru
Hi, Alan has investigated this issue (as you can see) and I have reviewed the materials to support his conclusions. Perhaps you will need to contact your ISP and also try rebooting your cable modem (unplug from wall for 60 seconds) and any routers or firewals. talasila
Once again thanks for all your help guys. It seems to be working now!!! If there are any more issues I'll contact my ISP. Cheers, Sreenivas
jandafields
I use DSL with SBC Global, and (rarely) I can access certain pages and not others. The other day, I could access google.com, but not yahoo.com. Tracert would stop at an sbc router. Wait a while, try again, all better... I'm real happy with their dsl service though, especially with the 26.95/month deal. A lot of people are still paying 20 - 25 / month for dial-up Yuck!
