okok
I need to convert a large amount of Freehand files into graphics I can use in a website, probably jpeg. As this is a one-time project, I don't want to invest in expensive applications just for this task. Do you know of low-cost or freeware applications that can convert Freehand files into other, more popular, formats? Thanks
borfast
Doesn't Freehand support batch file processing? I remember it could do some batch processing, I used it myself. You could make it export the files automatically to a raster format.
TCH-Andy
Hi, I assume you haven't got Freehand - otherwise you could use that to convert. What version and format of Freehand are they saved in? If it's EPS then you can use something like irfanview
TCH-Don
Or if you have Photoshop and they are .eps you can place then in the workspace. Yes Irfanview is getting to be the default viewer for everyone Thumbs Up
TCH-Bruce
I've been recommending Irfanview for years. Great program! Thumbs Up
borfast
Yep, I recommend Irfanview, too! Forget the lame ACDSee bloatware
okok
Thank you for your replies. Irfan View is indeed an excellent application, but it cannot handle Freehand files. Seems like I'll have to find someone with Freehand who will do the conversion for me...
TCH-Don
What format are the files (extension) ?
Deverill
How many files do you have? If it's a few I'm sure someone here could help out.
