annie Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 I saw this on the cpanel forums: "By default the server notifications for bandwidth and disk usage go to 'admin@domain.com'. Unless the user has configured the catch-all to fail or blackhole, and hasn't created an actual 'admin' email account, the notices will go to their admin catch-all account." I'm just wondering where you guys send the warnings. I usually monitor my usage, but if I can't do that one week and by some freak accident go over, I'd like to know where the warning e-mail goes. I think I've failed both admin and catch-all, so you can understand my concern. Quote
TCH-Andy Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 Hi Annie, It will be sent to the contact you have set in cpanel. Where is says "Please update your contact information here." click on the word "here" to see or update the contact address. Quote
hindixp Posted June 20, 2004 Posted June 20, 2004 Hi, even Cpanel recommends users to set up the contact info and if iam not mistaken that should be an alternate id Other than domain name you are dealing with. Quote

Yes, it should not be an address on your site or that server. This is the one place I can trust with one of my IPS addys Quote
