CountryBoy Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 I have a site that I want to have a couple of people look at but need to run it on another machine as it is dependant on IIS. I have played with using a sub-domain or forwarding and both seem to work fine but I want to hide from the users that they are on a different machine/IP address (I also don't want them to start calling my local machine directly via the IP). I have been told by others that they use "URL Masking" when setting this up. I can't find this option in cPanel. How do I set masking up on TCH? Thanks, Eric. Quote
TCH-Rob Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 It isnt a TCH thing in particular. It is available from most registrars but in reality it is just the page in a frame. Quote
annie Posted June 7, 2004 Posted June 7, 2004 I do that exact same thing, except not to an IIS server. Put it in a frame that fills the whole screen. Quote
