Hello,

I am wondering onething :)

Is it useless to have a backup email server when you are hosted at TCH?

Cos' I have one domain that I'm planning to move within the next 2 months, on a second account. It's not a hightraffic domain, but that's my email domain (lubox.com) on which I receive all my emails (Work related, Uni, friends, ML, etc...)

Actually I had 2 mail servers but will I still need a backup one as the TCH uptime seems very good...

What do you think?

I can only tell you my mileage.

I still received spam through my old account weeks after I changed over. I had no way to monitor what happened once they removed me from their old zone (if the bad data was part of the reason for the mails going the wrong way), because he terminated my whole account the moment he realized I wasn't going to renew, even though I had MORE than a month left that I'd paid for. Bastard!
