hrbrown82
I generated a contact page in Frontpage 2000 but when I try to submit information it says: Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page: "http://www.pacificbillingservices.com/contact us.htm" Does anyone know how to fix this problem or easily generate a contact page. I don't know much html, but I'm learning so if anyone has some tips for doing this I would appreciate it.
SEO
It might be just a typo in your post or it may solve the problem. No spaces allowed in the name: contact us.htm Change to: contact_us.htm Hope it is this simple
KevinW
that indeed is their problem. take a look at http://www.pacificbillingservices.com/contact%20us.htm -kw
hrbrown82
I took the space out but that didn't seem to do it either. Any other suggestions?
SEO
No one suggested you remove the space, just replace it. Look at kw's post again. That is your solution.
hrbrown82
Sorry bad wording on my part. I replaced the space in "contact us.htm" with an underline so it is now "contact_us.htm". This is what you meant, right? It is now at www.pacificbillingservices.com/contact_us.htm
SEO
This is what you want: http://www.pacificbillingservices.com/contact%20us.htm The characters %20 creates a space. Click on the url above and you will get your desired page. This is what kw was saying.
hrbrown82
Alright I did that. Still doesn't work. Thanks for your patience. This problem is really testing mine! Any other suggestions?
SEO
When you click on the below link, what happens? http://www.pacificbillingservices.com/contact%20us.htm
hrbrown82
Oh no! I think you misunderstood my question from the start. When you click on that link now my contact us page is pulled up. My question is "how do you get the information on my contact page (when someone fills it out) to be submitted to my e-mail when a person hits the submit button." Right now it says it cannot run this component because of the lack of front page server extensions.
SEO
Sorry, my mistake... I did misunderstand. Will preface the rest of my comments with: I am not a FrontPage person. I always look at the obvious first: 1. Did you install FrontPage Extensions? TCH web servers support FrontPage 2002 extensions (FPE). However, FPE is not automatically installed when your site is configured. Use cPanel to quickly install FPE. The above is from the help site and more can be found here. hrbrown82
Yes, they are installed. That's what I used to get my whole page up. I just reinstalled them just in case, but no luck.
